Assured MBS Suit Against UBS Unit To Proceed
U.S. District Judge Harold Baer of Manhattan has ruled that bond insurer Assured Guaranty may proceed with its suit against UBS Real Estate Securities, charging that the Swiss firm misrepresented the risk of loans in $1.5 billion of mortgage-backed securities.
