Daniel Mudd, the former ceo of Fannie Mae, has lost his bid to dismiss a lawsuit brought against him and two other former executives of the agency by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, charging they misled investors regarding the government-sponsored enterprise’s exposure to subprime and Alt-A mortgages.
