Basel May Delay Bank Rules

The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision is said to be considering a delay in implementing bank liquidity rules, currently scheduled to go into effect in 2015. Sources said that the committee will consider options when it meets next month that include keeping to the current schedule, beginning a phase-in of the measures in 2015, or delaying them past that year.
