Chicago Fed Head Backs More MBS Purchases
Charles Evans, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, says the Fed should continue its program of purchasing a combined $85 billion in mortgage-backed securities and Treasurys through Operation Twist for another six months to a year when the labor market improves.
