CMBS Recovery Rates Remain Strong
The recovery rate for loans in commercial mortgage-backed securities in special servicing remained strong in the first half of 2013 at 80%, and the percentage of CMBS loans in special servicing is now at 9%, down from its high of 12% in 2012, according to Fitch Ratings.
