Russia Debt Payments, Turkey Bond Sale

The Russian government, following an agreed schedule, paid $1.2 billion to the Paris club this week comprising $612 in principal and $582 million in interest according to payment agent Vnesheconombank. It also paid $25 million to Germany.

The Turkish Treasury borrowed 8.5 billion lira through bond auctions. The government sold 19-month bonds at a 13.53% interest rate and five year notes at 7.32%.
