Argentine President Says Economy Grew 9.1% In 2005

Statement comes ahead of official statistice release

Argentine President Nestor Kirchner decided on Wednesday to anticipate December data from the Economic Activity Monthly Estimator (EMAE) which will be released on Thursday by the National Statistics Institute (INDEC). A significant growth is estimated for the fourth quarter. Activity development exceeded 2003 and 2004 growths.
