Having settled its debt with the IMF, Argentina is looking for more financial facilities with multilateral credit organisations. Argentina's government confirmed that the World Bank is evaluating the approval of seven new credits worth $915 million, to be granted over the next six months. Most of the loans had already been included in the agreement signed in 2004, which is about to end. However, the first new loans of the Bank's Country Assistance Strategy for the next three years are already being evaluated.
