The Argentine government has decided to invest around USD 10mn in Nigeria. The investment by the Argentine government is a part of its efforts to improve commerce and trade relationship between Nigeria and Argentina. The initial investment would cover areas in the chemical, pharmaceuticals and automobile sectors.

The Charge d' Affairs, in Argentina's Nigeria embassy Richardo Monticelli said that Argentina was ken to improve bilateral relations with Nigeria. The Nigerian daily The Guardian quoted Monticelli as saying that the trade mission from Argentina would be visiting to Abuja Lagos, and Kaduna to work out the institutional framework to increase commerce with Nigeria.

The trade mission would also meet businessmen to discuss and to improve the economic relationship between the two countries.
