Fitch Ratings-London-14 March 2005: Fitch Ratings, the international rating agency, will host a teleconference to discuss the credit implications of recent developments in Lebanon, on Wednesday 16 March at 10:00am UK time.
Richard Fox, Senior Director in Fitch's Sovereign Rating Group, will host the call and will be joined by Martin Oldham, Director in Fitch's Bank Group.
The call will include a short presentation offering a brief outline of the rationale for Lebanon's 'B-' (B minus) Long-term foreign currency rating, the impact of recent events on political risk as well as the potential economic and policy implications, impact on the banking system and future credit considerations. The call will then be opened to questions.
