Economy minister Ali Babacan started yesterday his 6- day visit to Belgium, the UK, and Germany. In his first stop in Brussels, Babacan is planned to meet Joaquin Almunia, the EU Economic and Monetary Affairs Commissioner. He will move to London on Nov 18, where he will meet representatives of international finance and investment circles. In Germany, Babacan will attend G-20 meetings on Nov 20, and come together with the US Treasury Secretary John Snow.
