Schellbach Leaves Goldman For Lehman

Peter Schellbach, a v.p. and trader of distressed and crossover loans at Goldman Sachs, has left to go to Lehman Brothers.

Peter Schellbach, a v.p. and trader of distressed and crossover loans at Goldman Sachs, has left to go to Lehman Brothers. A trading spot on the Lehman distressed loan desk recently became available when Mark Quinn, formerly a senior v.p. and distressed loan trader at the firm, joined hedge fund Troob Capital Management last month.

Schellbach had only just jumped from Deutsche Bank last summer. At Deutsche Bank, he was a distressed loan trader and salesman on the firm's special situations desk. It could not be determined if Goldman would look to hire a replacement. Officials and spokespeople at Goldman and Lehman did not return calls. Schellbach could not be reached at Goldman.
