New issuance in European asset-backed securitization in the first quarter grew 124% over the the same quarter in 2006, with most sub-classes increasing in bulk.

New issuance in European asset-backed securitization in the first quarter grew 124% over the same quarter in 2006, with most sub-classes increasing in bulk. The only exception was credit card and “other” ABS sector, which showed some contraction.
