Goldman Sachs completed a number of landmark deals across the securitization space. The firm had a bookrunner role on Chrysler Financial's $34.4 billion automobile ABS warehouse and term notes. Goldman also worked on the Gamut Reinsurance transaction, which was the first actively managed CDO of catastrophe risk. The bank's call against the housing market, also led to a prolific $11 billion of income for the bank last year. Michael Millette and Bunty Bohra are co-heads of securitization at Goldman. Shiv Kumar, head of the financial institutions structured products group, led the Gamut deal. Phil Gitler and Robert McDonald worked on the Chrysler Financial deal.
