Paragon restarts lending with £200m warehouse

UK specialist buy-to-let lender Paragon is to resume new origination after it secured a £200m warehouse facility from Macquarie Bank.

Paragon stopped new lending in February 2008 after the securitisation market, which provided most of its funding, dried up. In February this year, the firm went on an investor roadshow to gauge interest in a securitisation and met with 35 investors at the Global ABS conference in June. ...
