More cat bonds on the way, says Swiss Re

Catastrophe bond issuance should climb in the year ahead, potentially exceeding even the highs reached in 2011, according to Swiss Re’s head of non-life risk transformation, Martin Bisping.

His optimism comes after the first quarter of 2011 saw the highest ever issuance, while the year as a whole saw fourth highest volumes ever.
