Credit Ratings Agencies Blasted Over Tactics

The Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations has lashed out at credit rating agencies for some of the tactics they appeared to have use that led them to give higher ratings to mortgage-backed securities and collateralized debt obligations than was warranted.
