Sales of mortgage-backed securities in Canada declined 16% in 2010, with little change in the market expected next year.

Sales of mortgage-backed securities in Canada declined 16% in 2010, with little change in the market expected next year. In addition, yields on the securities widened this year from 23.5 basis points above federal benchmarks at the beginning of 2010 to 25.5 bps.
