Foreclosure Agreement Won’t Shield Banks From Suits

A settlement between states attorney generals and banks over their foreclosure practices will not shield financial institutions from securities fraud and municipal lawsuits over unpaid mortgage fees, according Tom Miller, the Iowa attorney general.
