Regulators To Press Banks On Liquidity

Stefan Ingves, the new chairman of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, said the committee is putting implementation of Basel III financial reforms at the top of its agenda and that global regulators will begin pressuring banks to raise liquidity and curb their reliance on shorter-term funding.
