CMBS Delinquencies Rise In Q2

Loan delinquencies in U.S. commercial mortgage-backed securities rose in the second quarter, while delinquency rates for commercial and multifamily mortgages fell, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association.

Loan delinquencies in U.S. commercial mortgage-backed securities rose in the second quarter, while delinquency rates for commercial and multifamily mortgages fell, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association. MBA says the CMBS increases are largely driven by “the large share of these loans in foreclosure” or real-estate owned properties.
