Spanish ECB Borrowing Rises Again

Spanish banks increased their borrowing from the European Central Bank in August to EUR388.7 billion ($511 billion) up from EUR375.5 billion ($493.6 billion) in July and EUR318 billion ($418 billion) a year earlier, amid a decline in bank deposits and restricted access to debt markets, according to the Bank of Spain.
