IMA Warns Of Multiple-Tax Threat

The U.K.’s Investment Management Association has warned the proposed financial transaction tax which 11 European Union member states plan to implement could result in multiple taxation—on the seller and the buyer—and affect investors even in the countries not adopting the levy.
