Market players looked favorably on the sale by Deutsche Bank and Barclays of assets they took on from the Federal Reserve Bank Of New York’s auction of its MAX collateralized debt obligation bonds. The bonds were said to have gone at a higher price than many anticipated, setting a good tone for the space and showing a market could be made for the securities, once deemed toxic.
