Credit Unions May Cease, Reduce Originations

Some 44% of credit unions said they will stop originating non-qualified mortgages and another 44% will reduce originations as a result of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s new qualified mortgage rule, according to a survey of National Association of Federal Credit Unions.
