Economists See MBS Cutback More Likely In 2014

Business economists see an 80% probability that the Federal Reserve will cut back on its monthly purchases of mortgage-backed securities next year, compared with a 45% probability of that occurring at the Federal Open Market Committee meeting scheduled for later this month, according to a survey of the National Association for Business Economics.
