Deutsche Bank in London has hired Paolo Massi, director in the securitization team at Merrill Lynch in London, as a director in the European commercial real estate group.

Deutsche Bank in London has hired Paolo Massi, director in the securitization team at Merrill Lynch in London, as a director in the European commercial real estate group. Massi starts later this month and will head up the group's activities in Southern Europe, reporting to group head John Nacos. Massi, reached on his cell phone, declined comment. Nacos did not return calls by press time.

At Merrill, Massi structured securitizations and non-performing loans across Europe. He reported to Justin Fox, European head of securitization, who did not return calls by press time.
