Securitization volumes flourished in Latin America last year, but the U.S. subprime crisis continues to pressure the flourishing market, according to analysts at Moody’s Investors Service. Issuance of asset-backed and mortgage-backed securitizations hit $19.1 billion in 2007, a 25% increase over the 2006 total of $15.3 billion. ...
