Lawmaker Wants Senate To Deal With GSEs
Rep. Spencer Bachus (R-Ala.) says he wants a Senate bill to include a provision that addresses issues relating to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, including a requirement that the government-sponsored entities be placed in receivership if they are insolvent by a specified date.
