Senate KO’s McCain’s GSE Amendment

The Senate has voted down an amendment to financial reform legislation introduced by Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and two other Republican lawmakers that would have taken Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac out of federal conservatorship within two years.
