Alba sells eclectic Italian lease securitisation

Milan-based Alba Leasing has priced a €680m transaction, known as Alba 5 SPV Srl, which securitised a novel portfolio of diverse lease receivables backed by equipment, vehicles, real estate and transport assets, such as shipping and aircraft.

The senior €450m class ‘A’ tranche, rated A2 and A by Moody’s Investors Service and Standard & Poor’s, respectively, priced at three month Euribor plus 150bp late last week. The unrated €230m class ‘B’ tranche was not sold. The deal was arranged by Banca IMI.
