SEC Ends MBS Probe Of GS

Goldman Sachs says the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s has ended its investigation into the investment bank’s role in the sale of $1.3 billion of mortgage-backed securities, and that the SEC has decided not to pursue legal action, despite earlier threats to do so.
