Bank TruPS CDO Default, Deferral Rates Stable

The default and deferral rates for U.S. bank TruPS collateralized debt obligations remained stable in November at 30.7% of the original collateral notional balance, according to Fitch Ratings.

The default and deferral rates for U.S. bank TruPS collateralized debt obligations remained stable in November at 30.7% of the original collateral notional balance, according to Fitch Ratings. Fitch said defaults are trending lower with only 19 new ones this year to date, compared with 40 in 2011.
