Lawmakers To Introduce Bill To Shut GSE
Sens. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) and Mark Warner (D-Va.) are planning to introduce legislation next week that would shut down Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac within a five-year period and replace it with a new entity called the Federal Mortgage Insurance Corp.
