Munich-based HVB Group is looking to hire a securitization analyst, according to market participants. It could not be determined if the analyst will be based in London or Munich. Thorsten Weinelt, head of credit research at HVB Group in Munich, declined to comment.
Last year, as part of its effort to become a bigger player in the European securitization market, HVB hired Mark Lewis to head European securitization (BW, 10/20). Hiring a dedicated securitization analyst would signal a continuation of that effort, say market participants.
