Credit Suisse First Boston has moved quickly to fill the vacancies on its U.S. debt capital markets team created by the departure last week of four senior bankers to RBS Greenwich Capital. CSFB has made three internal transfers and one outside hire, according to John Gallagher, spokesman. Eve Merckaert, a director, is being transferred from structured derivatives marketing, and Scott Roose, also a director, is moving over from the European debt origination team. They will both work on unsecured originations and report to Bill White, co-head of debt capital markets in New York. The firm has also hired Elizabeth Yu from Merrill Lynch as a director to cover the corporate derivatives marketing desk and Michael Saron is returning as a director in liability management. He previously was responsible for European liability management.
