First Albany Capital has hired Steven Patricola as managing director and senior analyst in high-yield at its new Greenwich, Conn., office. Patricola, a former Institutional Investor-ranked research analyst from his days at Scotia Capital, will cover high-yield credits in the retail, supermarket and restaurant sector, said Peter Parent, head of high-yield at FAC.
Patricola reports to Jim Wolf, managing director and head of research. Wolf and Parent joined FAC this summer from RBC Capital Markets (BW, 8/23). Parent said FAC's Greenwich office opened at the beginning of November and is actively recruiting professionals in sales and research. He declined to be more specific about the positions the firm is looking to add.
