Financial Security Assurance's international infrastructure group in London has hired Agnes Mazurek, senior credit analyst in project finance at Dexia in Paris, as an associate v.p. And additional hires are planned, according to Chuck Silberstein, head of international infrastructure finance.
Silberstein said the additions come as part of FSA's reorganization to emphasize the global focus of its London-based infrastructure and project finance groups. "PFI started in the U.K. but it is becoming increasingly international," he said. FSA's project finance business from North America to Asia--excluding U.S. domestic public finance---is run out of FSA's London office.
At Dexia, Mazurek reported to Mathieu Lepeltier, managing director of the risk management division. He declined comment.
