The Bond Market Association has hired fixed-income market veteran Randy Snook, formerly a partner at Goldman Sachs, as executive v.p. and head of its New York office.

The Bond Market Association has hired fixed-income market veteran Randy Snook, formerly a partner at Goldman Sachs, as executive v.p. and head of its New York office. Snook retired from Goldman in 2003 after holding positions including co-head of the credit capital markets new issue desk, co-head of the corporate bond business unit and head of the investment-grade syndicate. Prior to his career at Goldman, Snook worked at Drexel Burnham Lambert. Snook's role is a new one for the trade group and he will report to Micah Green, president and ceo.
