Aircraft ABS issuers learning to fly

Aircraft ABS issuance has been strong over the last few weeks as investors have subscribed to new deals in what market participants call a vote of confidence for the US economy. Now two debut issuers have taken advantage of the strong market conditions.

New aircraft lease deals by Aldus Aviation and Jetscape Aviation were announced Monday. Those transactions will follow a $556.341bn aircraft lease ABS by Apollo Aviation which priced late last month at a yield of 5.125% for the senior notes slated to mature in 3.8 years.
