BlackRock plans to raise up to $5 billion to participate in Treasury’s Legacy Securities Public-Private Investment Program.

BlackRock plans to raise up to $5 billion to participate in Treasury’s Legacy Securities Public-Private Investment Program. The amount is well above the suggested $1 billion asset managers selected for the program have been asked to raise, and will reportedly come from financing, private capital and government funds.
