FHFA To Formalize GSE Mortgage Reviews

The Federal Housing Finance Agency’s Office of Housing and Regulatory Policy expects to release by September written guidance for how Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac should review mortgages, with final rules for implementation projected for next March.
