DB Securities Seeks ABCP Settlement In Canada

Deutsche Bank Securities and Canada’s Investment Industry Regulatory Organization have reached a tentative settlement over allegations that the German bank failed to ensure “proper regulatory compliance oversight of third-party” asset-backed commercial paper in 2007.

Deutsche Bank Securities and Canada’s Investment Industry Regulatory Organization have reached a tentative settlement over allegations that the German bank failed to ensure “proper regulatory compliance oversight of third-party” asset-backed commercial paper in 2007. The IIRC has scheduled a hearing for Feb. 8 to discuss the settlement.
