Portuguese Banks Deny Needing More Capital
Fernando Faria de Oliveira, head of the Portuguese Banking Association, denies claims by Moody’s Investors Service that the nation’s banking sector needs an additional EUR8 billion ($10.5 billion), saying in an interview that “nothing points to those figures.”
