This league table is based on GlobalCapital's proprietary database of European securitization transactions. Tranches that are wholly retained or where a part is retained for more than risk retention purposes are marked as such in the database and the retained portion excluded from league tables. 5% risk retention slices are not treated as retained. A deal comprising entirely retained tranches would count towards the number of deals but with zero value attributed to it. Proportional credit given to each firm on the top line of a deal.
