CDC IXIS Capital Markets is looking to hire an additional fixed-income salesman for its London office. The new hire will work alongside and report to Anthony Whittaker, head of its U.K. and Ireland fixed-income sales effort. Whittaker, who joined CDC in June, specializes in asset-backeds and structured finance products.
Whittaker says CDC IXIS is working on regulatory capital structured products and niche ABS deals. One of the firm's most recent deals was a collateralized debt obligation called Esano, which it placed at the end of July. That deal was backed by a pool of 70 assets, 80% of which were CDOs.
