The awards are the result of an exhaustive market poll, with banks voting for their preferred issuers and borrowers rewarding those banks they consider to have performed the best. The bond markets have seen both excellent conditions for new debt issuance and in the past year as well as times of great volatility. Some issuers have been able to pull of great deals at difficult times, while for others, picking the right window has been a matter of great importance and skill.

GlobalCapital’s awards will recognise those issuers that have navigated the difficulties — and those banks that have helped their clients — better than their rivals.
