Asia DCM deal volumes set new record for 2016

Global debt capital markets have seen a total of $5.23tr worth of bonds issued in the first nine months of the year, with the volume for Asia ex-Japan totalling $944bn — the highest for the period since 1995.

China DCM volume accounted for 74.6% of the Asia market, up from 66.8% during the same period in 2015, with issuers printing a whopping $705.3bn worth of notes, according to Dealogic.
