BAML loses head of southeast Asia ECM, equity-linked

Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s head of southeast Asia equity capital markets has left the firm, amid a wider reshuffle of its Asian investment banking business that resulted in a number of departures.

Singapore-based Niraan de Silva vacated his role this week, sources said. The long-time BAML banker, who was with the US lender for a decade, last held the position of head of ECM as well as equity-linked capital markets. A BAML spokesperson declined to comment.
