Pakistan’s equity capital markets are on the verge of a well needed boost, after the country’s financial regulator set out plans to develop and grow them over the next two years.

The Capital Market Development Plan (2016-2018), published by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), addresses issues in various areas of the equity and debt capital markets.
